The 2nd Battalion Yorkshire Regiment (Green Howards) served in Afghanistan for 6 months in 2007 - 2008. They returned from service in Afghanistan in April 2008. Below is a selection of 40 photographs of the Battalion personnel, taken on active service, during this period.
