| The Luncheon was held on Sat the 13 December.. Some 80 guests
attended and had an excellent lunch in high spirits! The usual toasts were
given and were followed by the reading of a poem "The Green Howard
Bond" in which Chas Rogan (Bn HQ), re-called the bond forged in the
Bn on active service in Egypt and Cyprus. Charlie has lived in Canada for
over Forty Years. Later in the evening a convivial gathering was held in
the Wentworth Arms. |
