Afghanistan and the North West Frontier

The Green Howards During the Third Afghan War 1919
& the Waziristan Campaigns of 1936-1937, 1937-1939
This issue of the Newsletter of the Friends of the Green Howards Regimental Museum is well illustrated with a large number of photographs taken at the time. Some of the early photographs are unique, showing soldiers of the Green Howards campaigning in the North West Frontier. These photographs are personal, and many appear to have been taken unofficially.
A collection of recently discovered negatives has been specially scanned in, and are now seen by a wider audience for the first time.
