GREEN HOWARDS ASSOCIATION ANNUAL REUNION 2008
I can now confirm that the Regimental Reunion will take place on the weekend 24th/25th/26th October 2008 at the TA Centre, Coldyhill Lane, Scarborough with the kind permission of the Commanding Officer, 4th Battalion The Yorkshire Regiment.
Due to the increased costs this year to the GHA for TA Staff wages (£1.5K), Band Fees and world economy affecting the price of fish and chips, the cost of tickets has had to be increased.
The cost of a full ticket (Fri/Sat/Sun) is £25.00. Cost of a day ticket for either day Saturday or Sunday is £9.00.
Tickets are available from the Headquarters at Richmond. Cheques should be made payable to ‘The Green Howards Association’.

Obituary for John Wibberley
The following request has been received from Major Roddy Bailey (<roderic2@eircom.net>);-
'I hope to compile a suitable obituary for retired Corporal John Wibberley in the next issue of the Green Howard magazine. Whilst I recall him as a Support Company member (both Mortar and Anti-Tank, I think), rugger player and for a time Provost Sgt, I do not know enough to do John and his family justice. It is important we get these tributes right and I can't do that without help. If anybody wishes to send me details/anecdotes of John Wibberley's life, not only in the Green Howards but also in his civilian occupation please email them to me (roderc2@eircom.net). If that is not possible please telephone me (from UK - 00353 5393 89959) or give any material to RHQ in Richmond. I would like to have all contributions by 3 July in order to make the next issue. Many thanks,
Roddy Bailey'
