Mr Burke holds up the embroidered cushion cover

Mr Burke visited us on 25th October 2011 to present the Museum with a hand-embroidered cushion cover dating back to the time when our soldiers were in the desert during WW2.

It shows the names of some of the places they passed through on their way to victory.
