GREAT GREAT NIECE OF TANDEY VISITS THE MUSEUM ![]() Mr and Mrs Bell with sons Harry, Thomas and William Recently Mr Andrew and Mrs Amanda Bell visited the museum for the first time for information about Mrs Bell's Great Great Uncle Henry Tandey. Travelling up to Richmond from Long Eaton, Derbyshire the Bell family, including sons Harry (6), Thomas (4) and William (2), were given a tour of the museum by Peter Etherington. The family were also taken into the Normanby Room where Peter gave a full account of Tandey's war record with special reference to the Menin Crossroads painting. Mrs Bell said she had grown up hearing only rumours of her relative's bravery and was fascinated to hear the full story of his time with the Regiment during WW1.
