MUSEUM LIVE ON TELEVISION FOR ARMISTICE DAY ![]() Pam Royle and crew in the Normanby Room, the Green Howards Museum, on 11 November 2008 Tyne Tees Television's 'North East Tonight' was live from the Green Howards Museum on Armistice Day, 11th November. Presenter Pam Royle used several locations around the Museum, including the entrance, the Normanby Room and the Harrison Medal Gallery. She introduced items about how the region marked the Two Minutes' Silence, how former military personnel are cared for and Green Howard Stan Hollis, the only man to win the Victoria Cross on D-Day. Hollis's VC is displayed in the Museum. The Museum was pleased to have been able to host Pam and her crew on the 90th anniversary of the end of World War I.
