NEW CURATOR TAKES UP POST

Miss Lynda Powell took up her new post as curator at the museum in January 2009. She came to us from Richmond District Council where she worked as the Museums Officer. Having spent time at the museum previously helping with a successful bid for the Heritage Lottery Fund, she is very pleased to be back again and taking up the role of curator. Lynda is a graduate of Lancaster University and completed a post-graduate course in Museum Studies at Leicester University. She brings a wealth of experience and talent to our museum and has plenty of ideas to help raise the profile of the museum.
