The Infantry Will Advance

Today we are updating the website and we hope you like the new look. The update is based upon user’s feedback and includes pages from the old website. The next stage will be to make the photograph collection available on the website.

As many of you will know I started working at the museum in January and one of my priorities has been to complete this work. However we have had to undertake a significant amount of work to make sure that when the collection ‘goes live’ the information is correct and the right image appears with the right caption. This has proved time consuming but we aim to have 2,000 images on the site by the end of June.

For the moment you can get a taste of what is to come by viewing the changing images on the home page.
