The Green Howards Museum has a number
of photographs in its collection. Included on this page, are a selection of
photographs that were taken when the Regiment was serving in Libya in the early
1960's. The Museum would be delighted that you browse through these photographs,
and only ask that if you would like to use one of the photographs that you please
request their permission.
Some of the soldiers shown in the photographs have not been identified. If
YOU recognise anybody who HASN'T been identified, please
let us know!
There are over 30 photos which can be viewed, each with a file size of anywhere between 20 - 100K.
To access theses images, you may either select a single image from a TEXT BASED
menu and then continue browsing through the "album".
Alternatively, you may use the page of thumbnail size pictures to make your
initial selection. However, with 300K-plus of thumbnail size images to download,
you may prefer to use the text based menu.
