The photographs on this page have been very kindly donated by Mrs Denise Baldry (<denise.baldry@virgin.net>, the daughter of RSM George Walter Foreman.
RSM Foreman was originally with the Royal Norfolk Regiment. He enlisted in 1931 and served with the Norfolks until 1945, when he was transferred to / attched to the 2nd Battalion the Green Howards in India. He served with the Green Howards in India for at least a year, before then moving on to other duties and regiments. He finally left the Army in March 1953.
The four photos below show RSM Foreman in India in about 1946, and three of the photographs show him with other Green Howards.
