On the Thornaby Cenotaph there are eight panels of names of those men from Thornaby who lost their lives in the First World War. Below are thumbnail images for each of the eight panels. Durham. Killed on 17 November 1915. Aged 32. (Lost when HS Anglia, a hospital ship, was sunk by mine off Dover on 17 November 1915.)
